Moving average of Covid-19 deaths grows 91% in one month

The moving average of deaths from Covid-19, which considers the last seven days, grew 91.8% in a month, according to data from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), released this Friday (24).

Today the floating indicator marks 188. On the 24th of May, the moving average was 98.

This increase is accompanied by contamination by the virus. The mobile indicator of cases was 49,970 this Friday.

For comparison purposes, a month ago the moving average of infections was 15,504.

In the last 24 hours, Brazil recorded 334 deaths from Covid-19 and 60,384 new cases of the disease.

As a result, the country exceeds 32 million infections.

According to Conass, since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, there have been 670,229 fatal victims of Covid and 32,023,166 registered cases.
