N. Androulakis: Mr. Mitsotakis wanted a hostage PASOK and failed

“Today in the Parliament, a Prime Minister appeared steeped in arrogance. He refused once again to answer critical questions”, stressed the president of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, in his statement after the end of the debate at the level of political leaders in the parliament.

And he continues: “From September 2021, the EYP will start monitoring me and at the same time they are trying to trap me with a spy “superplane” costing millions of euros, which could videotape me 24 hours a day.

Mr. Mitsotakis considers this to be normal, while he knows that I am the only MEP in the entire European Union, to whom something like this has happened.

Also, he did not answer what are the national reasons for my attendance, which have not occurred in the eight years that I have been an MEP. They appeared suddenly as soon as I declared my candidacy for the Presidency of PASOK and suddenly disappeared again with my election.

Stop, Mr. Mitsotakis, directly scorning the intelligence of the Greek people. You wanted a PASOK hostage and you failed.

He also claims that he cannot publicly say the reasons for the surveillance. Is it legal and ethical while saying this, at the same time that the Maximus House leaks nonsense involving third countries, which refute them by exposing our country internationally?

And because he expressed a… anxiety about when we will meet, I am giving him an appointment at the commission of inquiry to come and directly answer what he avoided today, again choosing as a method of escape the toxic confrontation with Alexis Tsipras.

Finally, Mr. Mitsotakis had the audacity to give advice to PASOK voters. With what has been revealed lately, you are not in a position to advise the democratic citizens of the country.”
