The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will travel to the United Kingdom and Austria in order to meet with high-ranking officials of the two countries.
In particular, on Monday, March 7, in London, the Foreign Minister is expected to meet with his British counterpart Liz Truss.
On Tuesday, March 8, Nikos Dendias will travel to Vienna, where he is expected to meet with OSCE Secretary General Helga Maria Schmid.
Afterwards, he will have a private meeting with his Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg, followed by a working lunch and statements to the press around 16.30 (Greek time).
The Foreign Minister will then meet with the Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, Rendi Wagner, and the Vice-Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the Chairman of the European Affairs Committee of the Austrian Parliament, Reinholt Lohpol. .
The talks will focus on developments in Ukraine after the Russian attack, coordination of actions within the framework of international organizations, as well as regional issues, such as developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
In addition, during his visit to Vienna, the Foreign Minister will meet with the Metropolitan of Austria and Exarch of Hungary Arsenios.
