A delegation of sixteen students from the “Harvard Kennedy School of Government” was received today by the Minister of National Defense, Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, in the “Ioannis Kapodistrias” meeting room of the ministry.
In his greeting, Mr. Panagiotopoulos referred to the Greece-US Strategic Defense Cooperation, the assistance our country has provided to Ukraine, the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and Turkey’s provocative behavior towards our country.
Mr. Panagiotopoulos noted that Greece respects International Law, promotes dialogue and is a pillar of peace, security and stability in the wider region.
Also present were the Deputy Minister of National Defense Nikos Hardalias and the Chief of the General Defense Forces, General Konstantinos Floros, who wrote on his personal Twitter account: “We discussed the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Turkish provocation, Greece’s role in security and stability, as well as for the contribution of the Armed Forces to the Greece-US Strategic Relationship”.
