Nego Di is denounced by the MP in an investigation into digital raffles

Dilson Alves da Silva Neto, the influencer and comedian known as Nego Di, was denounced by the Public Ministry of Rio Grande do Sul (MPRS) for fraud, money laundering and use of false documents, in the investigation into the promotion of lotteries as digital raffles, this Thursday (5).

The complaint extends to Gabriela Sousa, the influencer’s wife. Both will become defendants if the court accepts the agency’s request. The couple was targeted in July of this year in Santa Catarina.

The Court of Justice of Rio Grande do Sul (TJRS) rejected the second request to revoke Dilson’s arrest this Wednesday (4).

The Specialized Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Porto Alegre and the 1st Regional Nucleus of the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (Gaeco) understand that Nego Di profited R$ 2.5 million in illegal online raffles that promised cash and property prizes, during November 2022 and May this year.

The influencer from Rio Grande do Sul was reported for committing fraud by raffling off prizes on social media. Porsche Macan and R$150,000 in cash a vehicle that was transferred to himself. The comedian allegedly misled the victims and created a fictitious winner.

The investigation also indicates that the influencer and his partner laundered R$2.5 million with third party accounts, amounts used to purchase luxury vehicles, properties in Porto Alegre (RS) and in the Serra and coastal regions of Rio Grande do Sul.

In May of this year, on a social media profile, the influencer posted proof of a transfer, in the PIX format, in the amount of R$1 million, referring to an alleged donation to a solidarity campaign to help victims of the flood that was ravaging Rio Grande do Sul.

The MP argues that the real banking transaction and the respective receipt generated were for only R$100, and reported the comedian for using false documents.
