Doña María and Don Joel, a 74 and 79-year-old couple of grandparents, spent their days in a wooden house, without a bathroom or comfortable furniture for their rest. Her situation was not alien to her neighbors, who came together to remodel their home.
The preparations took 15 days and the result not only made the couple of grandparents happy, it was also praised on social networks. Now, Maria and Joel have a decent home to live in.
A chain of help
It all started when businessman Reinaldo Barbosa commented that María and Joel were going through a difficult situation. The couple had applied for a loan to fix their house, but in the end, they invested the money in medical treatment for Joel, who was seriously ill.
It was then that the neighbors decided to help them, raising funds and working hard. In just 15 days they rebuilt the house with a firm floor, bathroom and comfortable furniture.
