Fourlis proceeded to acquire Piraeus Retail Park, the shopping center at the junction of Piraeus and Kifissos.
According to information, the agreement for the shopping center developed by Ten Brinke, was signed at the end of last year and the official announcements are expected in the next few days.
Piraeus Retail Park, one of the largest projects that Ten Brinke is constructing today in our country, initially and before the health crisis was designed to become a closed center of 32,000 sq.m. Instead, on the plot of 14,893 square meters, it was decided to develop an open retail park of 25,000 sq.m., which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2022, with the reference horizon at Easter.
This shopping center is expected to be listed on the Group’s Trade Estate, which is in the process of listing on the Stock Exchange.
The company is already in discussions with contractors and consultants, in order to proceed with the relevant admission procedures within the second half of this year, while in the same context some discussions are taking place with strategic partners.
Fourlis’s management aims to have assets close to 270 million euros when the import takes place, from the 180 million euros it has already announced, through acquisitions, including the shopping center in Piraeus.
Recently, Fourlis announced that it has signed the share purchase agreement of KTIMATODOMI SA, owner and manager of the FLORIDA 1 commercial park.
The Commercial Park is located in Thessaloniki and covers an area of ​​132,000 sq.m., with commercial areas of 31,407 sq.m., leased 100% to twelve of the largest retail companies in Greece (LeroyMerlin, AB VASILOPOULOS, JUMBO, Kotsovolos, Moustakas , Jysk et al.).
According to the estimates of the Group’s management, the goal is, in two years, for Trade Estates to have doubled the valuation value of its properties.
It is recalled that Trade Estates has agreed to acquire land within the plot in Elliniko for the creation of a commercial pole of 30,000 square meters.
