The Guarantee Fund of Romania (FGA), by posting on its website, addresses instructions to the claimants following the final decision of the court of 20.4.2022 to initiate the bankruptcy proceedings of the insurance company Societatea de Asigurare-Reasigurare City SA ( CITY).
According to the decision, the 90-day deadline for submitting claims (to the FGA) for compensation expires on July 20, 2022.
If the right to an insurance claim is raised after the date of the final court decision (April 20), the 90-day period starts from the date of its occurrence.
