New uproar in Britain: Two former police officers are accused of child pornography

It may have been a few days after the news that a British policeman was a rapistbut the turmoil in its Police Britain have not stopped, as two ex police officers accused of child pornography.

As Scotland Yard announced, a third, active police officer, who was involved in the same case, was recently found dead.

The authorities therefore reported that a 49-year-old chief inspector, Mr Richard WatkinsonFound dead on January 12 while he was about to be prosecuted for a host of offences, including ‘voyeurism’, taking ‘indecent’ photographs of a child and ‘conspiracy’ to ‘distribute or display indecent photographs of children’.

His death considered unexplained but ‘not suspicious’.

They are accused of the same case two ex-policemen, aged about 60 years today, who left the House fifteen years ago. THE Jack Addis and Jeremy Laxton are being prosecuted for “conspiracy to distribute or display indecent photographs of children”. Another charge is pending against Laxton, for downloading and possessing images of child pornography.

The offenses were committed between 2018-21. The two men will appear in court on February 9.

The interior minister Suella Braverman urged the police to “bring order” among themselves and to expel “corrupt officers”.
