Robert Maraj, father of rapper Nicki Minaj, passed away on Long Island, New York after being run over while crossing the street.
According to local media, Maraj, 64, was hit by a vehicle at approximately 6:00 p.m. last Friday. The driver involved ran away and the police are currently investigating a homicide. Apparently, none of those present managed to see license plates or other details of the vehicle.
After the accident, the man was transferred to the hospital where he died the next day due to his delicate state of health.
So far, Minaj has not made any statements in this regard. However, close sources say that he had a complicated relationship with his father.
