Even with some advances in recent years, men and women still do not have the same rights in society. CNN Specialist in Technology and Diversity Nina Silva commented on the matter this Friday (12).
According to the Global Gender Gap 2022, a recent study published by the World Economic Forum (IMF), female leadership in Brazil is 27%. Furthermore, in the Latin America and Caribbean region, only six countries have improved this gender gap since last year.
“Compared to its neighbors, Brazil lags well behind Argentina, Guyana, Peru, Colombia and Paraguay. In the first places of the ranking appear Iceland, Finland, Norway, New Zealand and Sweden”, explained the expert about the study data.
The research also states that it will take 132 years to achieve equality.
