Nissan launches sustainable financing framework for financing electric vehicles

Nissan is launching a sustainable financing framework to promote the financing of next-generation electric vehicles, batteries, environmental technologies and new mobility services.

Proceeds will be used to support projects in Nissan’s use of renewable energy sources, “clean” generation systems, EV recharging infrastructure, battery reuse and autonomous driving technologies.

The financing framework, which has been named the Nissan Sustainable Finance Framework, will enable the automaker to raise funds needed to further strengthen its sustainability efforts. This initiative underscores Nissan’s commitment to promoting sustainability and strengthening efforts to create a cleaner, safer and more inclusive world.
