Russian dealers of Nissan sold 2,699 cars in March, which is 53% less than in March last year. For the first quarter, sales decreased by 19% and amounted to 11,145 vehicles. Nissan’s best-selling car on the Russian market in March was the Nissan Qashqai crossover, sales of which fell by 37% to 1,270 units. The car was in the top five best-selling crossovers and SUVs in Russia. Second place went to the crossover Nissan X-Trail, sales of which decreased by 47% and amounted to 996 cars.

The Nissan plant in St. Petersburg has suspended work since March 14 due to interruptions in the supply of components. This plant produces crossovers Nissan Qashqai, X-Trail and Murano.
