Nokia has released an inexpensive smartphone with a monstrous screen and two days of autonomy

HMD Global, which owns the Nokia brand, has released its cheapest 5G smartphone, the Nokia G50. It has a massive 6.82-inch display (although the resolution is only HD +), which makes it extremely stand out from the competition. The Snapdragon 480 became the heart of the novelty – given the economical processor and low display resolution, a 5000 mAh battery should be enough for two days of battery life (at least, the manufacturer says so).

Full specifications of the Nokia G50

  • Display: 6.82 inches, IPS, HD +.
  • Processor: Snapdragon 480.
  • RAM: 4 or 6 GB.
  • User memory: 64 or 128 GB, support for microSD cards.
  • Main camera: 48 MP + 5 MP + depth sensor.
  • Front camera: 8 MP.
  • Battery: 5000 mAh, USB-C, 18 W (10 W charging included).
  • Pre-installed operating system: Android 11.

The manufacturer promises that the Nokia G50 will receive system updates for two years (Android 12 and 13), and security patches for three years. The novelty was presented in the UK, the base model with 4/64 GB of memory is priced at 199 pounds (20,000 rubles).
