Xiaomi announced today that the first smartphone of its Poco sub-brand, the three-year bestseller Poco F1 (review), will not receive an improved version of the proprietary MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version shell.

The announcement was made on official Telegram channels such as Xiaomi Global Community and Mi Fans Home. Also, without MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version, Xiaomi Mi A3 will remain (review). Recall that Mi A3 is offered in two versions – based on pure Android as part of the Android One program and with the MIUI shell.
As Xiaomi notes, the devices mentioned above will not be able to update to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced due to compatibility and performance issues.
This post came shortly after Xiaomi announced that MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version would not be released for Redmi 7, Redmi Y3, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7s, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi 7A.
