Next-gen Nvidia graphics cards with multi-GPU GPUs may come out sooner than one might think. Fresh rumors speak of the appearance of the Hopper cards as early as mid-2022.

No other recent data is available. Previously, solutions of the Hopper generation were credited with a 5 nm process technology, and the flagship GPU GH100 (the name is presumptive) will allegedly be able to provide almost three times more performance than the already incredibly powerful GA100.

True, it is now believed that Hopper will be an architecture for specialized accelerators, and not for gaming video cards. Gamers should get Lovelace adapters instead of Hopper cards, and so far no one has attributed multi-chip GPUs to them.
