OAED: Applications for the third subsidy cycle of 7,000 new jobs start on Monday

On Monday, January 31, at 13:00, the submission of electronic business applications for the third cycle of the program for the creation of 7,000 new jobs for the unemployed aged 30 and over in the Less Developed Regions of the country (Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Western Greece) begins. Epirus, Thessaly and Central Macedonia), with emphasis on the long-term unemployed and unemployed aged 50 and over, as announced today by OAED.

The program is aimed at private companies, the duration of the grant is 12 months and the amounts of the monthly salary subsidy and insurance contributions for hiring unemployed people in new full-time positions are as follows:

473 € per month (5,676 € per year) for the unemployed up to 49 years old
€ 568 monthly (€ 6,816 per year) for the unemployed aged 50 and over
615 € monthly (7,380 € per year) for the long-term unemployed
710 € per month (8,520 € per year) for the long-term unemployed 50 years and older

The aim of the action is to promote employment, especially for the long-term unemployed and the unemployed older whose permanent unemployment makes it difficult for them to re-enter the labor market. The total budget of the program amounts to 44,000,000 € and is co-financed by the European Social Fund, through the OP. “Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”.

It is pointed out that there is no employment commitment after the end of the program and simplified and faster integration and repayment procedures are provided. The subsidy of paid and non-paid expenses also includes the respective Christmas and Easter gifts and leave allowances.
