Cryptocurrency exchange OKEx has implemented a second level Lightning Network (LN) solution to speed up transactions and reduce commissions during their implementation.

“OKEx users can now use the Lightning Network for both depositing and withdrawing BTC,” the company’s website says.
At the time of this writing, there are 19,307 nodes and 42,164 payment channels in the LN network.

Recall that the OKEx marketplace announced support for the Lightning Network in February.
Among other well-known exchanges, LN is also integrating OKCoin and Kraken. In December 2019, Bitfinex added support for the Lightning Network, and in September 2020, expanded the solution with Wumbo payment channels.
