On June 15 the festivals start again: here are the new rules

From 15 June the festivals will (finally) start again: the government has just given the green light to the recovery for the yellow and white regions. From mid-month we will therefore be able to dedicate ourselves again to the beautiful habit of going around villages and towns to eat specialties, but following some very specific rules which have been established by the State Regions Conference with the opinion of the Technical Scientific Committee.

These are essential requirements to avoid the risk of contagion, most of which we are now used to: we visitors, for example, are required to wear the mask even outdoors, to subject ourselves to temperature measurement when it is foreseen, to always maintain one meter away with people outside the family, to use the disinfectant gel every time we need to take a hand product.

More complex, of course, the role of the organizer: the spaces of the festivals will have to be rethought to avoid gatherings or other potential risk occasions. For this the organizers must first and foremost inform visitors about prevention measures, with signs or audio and video systems even in languages other than Italian to make them understandable to foreign tourists, they must also prepare a special signage to allow entry and exit in an orderly manner and, in the event that the festivals are held indoors, they must limit the entrances and provide tables spaced at least one meter apart. Regardless of where the event takes place, whoever promotes it will also have to predict physical barriers (such as plexiglass) for the staff responsible for payments, who alternatively must always wear a mask and still have them available at all times the sanitizer to disinfect the handsi.

Cleaning and sanitation remain golden rules: all the rooms, the kitchen equipment, but also the tables and other common areas of the festival, will need to be sanitized frequently. Finally, to facilitate the exchange of air, when the festivals are indoors, windows and doors must be kept open except for adverse weather conditions.
