The result of the collision, as well as the movement of the truck's load, was that 21 students who were returning home after an excursion lost their lives and in addition 9 were seriously injured and 26 others were slightly injured. The drivers of the lorry and the bus, as well as four other people from the company that owned the lorry, were arrested and at a trial held in October 2008, the driver was sentenced to 15 years and 3 months in prison on charges of serial homicide on charges of serial murder […]
