Optimism for China: Experts “see” the end of the severe wave of coronavirus

The current wave of infections from the coronavirus in China while there is no notable increase in cases after the Lunar New Year celebrations, at least according to the latest epidemiological situation bulletin released by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

The number of people with severe COVID-19 and deaths from the disease is falling, Chinese authorities said in a report dated last week.

Japan will continue to monitor the epidemiological situation in China

Its principles Japan will continue to closely monitor how the situation regarding the novel coronavirus pandemic develops in China and handle border control measures “flexibly,” Japanese government spokesman Hirokazu Matsuno said today.

This statement comes the day after the announcement by the Chinese embassy in Japan that visas have resumed for those travelers from the archipelago who intend to visit it.

China had suspended the issuance of passport visas to Japanese citizens following Tokyo’s decision to tighten controls on travelers from China.
