The Unified Sustainable Development Report for 2021 includes important financial and non-financial data as well as other important performances of the OTE Group in matters of environment, society and corporate governance (ESG), while this year it was approved for the first time by the OTE Board of Directors, demonstrating the importance of of Sustainable Development for the Group.
The important results recorded in the report include, among others, the investments of more than €3 billion until 2027, implemented by the OTE Group in new generation fixed and mobile networks, FTTH and 5G, the reduction by 88% of direct and indirect of CO2 emissions from energy consumption (electricity, natural gas, diesel and gasoline) in the last five years, the achievement of zero waste from the provision of technology services and the participation of the OTE Group for the 2nd consecutive year in the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” list of the Ethisphere Institute .
