An incredible incident was recorded in a video, in which a man is seen kicking a woman in the chest, causing her to fall from the escalators.
Earlier, his wife had told him to apologize at a subway station in Brooklyn New York, according to police.
The 32-year-old victim and the suspect were climbing the escalator at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center last Thursday night when the man pushed her as he tried to overtake her, police said.
“Say: forgive me,” the woman told the man, according to authorities. He allegedly replied that he did and then turned and kicked the woman in the chest, throwing her down the escalator.
Another person was climbing the stairs and was next to the victim at the time of the attack and some others were moving in the opposite direction, going down, as shown in the video.
The victim refused to receive first aid for back, arm and leg injuries, according to the NY Post.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
