Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak announced the creation of his own space company, Privateer Space. On his Twitter page, the entrepreneur wrote that he will do everything possible to make space safe and accessible for all mankind, and this will make his company different from the rest.
Together with the message, Steve Wozniak published a video with a cut of the most important space achievements, and the voiceover says that space exploration is not a competition between competitors and not a game, it is the task of all mankind.
In addition to Wozniak, another founder of Privateer Space is Alex Fielding, the head of the robotics company Ripcord, which was created in 2014 at NASA. Its main task is to optimize business processes using robots, artificial intelligence and machine learning. More information on Privateer Space will be presented at the AMOS Tech conference, which will take place from September 14-17.
Today, there are such private space companies as Elon Musk’s SpaceX, Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin and Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic that are actively developing.
