P. Christidis (KINAL): We do not live in the ’60s to go out as a party leader to give lines

Pavlos Christidis expressed his intention to speak today clearly and in a political context about the second round of the internal party elections in the Movement for Change, speaking on SKAI television.

When asked if he will support Nikos Androulakis or George Papadreou, he answered that we live in 2021 and the people do not expect anyone to guide their vote.

“Citizens do not expect me, we do not live in the 60s and as a party leader I to go out and give lines. This is something very far from me,” said Mr. Christidis and added that the vote is secret.

He added that he has been with both claimants of the KINAL leadership for many years now and will be with all the next ones and that he had communication with both of them.

He described the conduct of the second round of internal elections as self-evident, saying that it was a democratic and institutional process.

He invited those who voted in the first round to come in the second as the high turnout is a guarantee for the next day, for a large team that will regain its leading character.
