The Authorized Advisor of the Fund, Panagiotis Stampoulidis, referred to the projects of the Ministry of Health that have been characterized as of Strategic Significance and were assigned to the HRDH for maturation, speaking at the Athens Health Summit organized by Kathimerini.

Mr. Stampoulidis explained that through the Recovery Fund and with the contribution of the Strategic Contracts Unit (PPF) of the HRDH, the health infrastructure of our country, Primary and Secondary, will be upgraded, for the benefit of the citizens.

The projects of the Ministry of Health that have been characterized as Strategic Significance and have already been assigned to the PPF, provide for the renovation of 80 hospitals and 150 buildings – Health Centers that need upgrading.

“We are in close cooperation with the Ministry so that in the coming weeks we can submit the technical data sheets and include them in the Public Investment Program, so that their studies and the announcement of tenders can begin to mature in the second year”, as noted by his Executive Advisor ΤΑΙΠΕΔ.

The HRDH project maturity unit, which, utilizing the experience and flexibility it has gained from the utilization of public property, will contribute to achieving the timetables set by the EU, with a horizon of completion by 2025. “The PPF is the fastest and most efficient organization to achieve these goals “, as Mr. Stampoulidis characteristically noted.

The HRDH was chosen to carry out a decisive task, to help the public sector to seize the great opportunity of the Recovery Fund and to absorb funds for the development of their infrastructure, he stressed.

The HRDH Adviser also referred to the need to activate PPPs in health, emphasizing that countries with advanced health services are a pole of attraction for tourists and residents abroad.
