Paul McCartney in Brazil: everything you need to know for the shows

Singer Paul McCartney is already among us and just hours away from presenting the “Got Back” tour to Brazilians. This Tuesday (28), fans of the ex-Beatle woke up to a surprise: the announcement of an extra and intimate show at Clube do Choro, a show space that holds 420 people, in Brasília. Tickets were very limited and according to Paul’s production, cell phones will not be allowed.

The “Got Back” tour began in the United States in April 2022 – the same year that Paul performed at the historic festival in Glastonbury, England, after 18 years. Before arriving in Brazil, Paul was in Mexico and shared images of the shows on his social networks:

According to the Eventim, the official website for Paul’s sales in Brazil, the singer is excited and guarantees that fans will have a lot of fun with the shows: “We have great memories of all our visits to the country. I love going to Brazil because you like rock, singing and partying at the same time.”

There will be eight performances in five different cities and some tickets are still available. At 81 years old, Sir Paul maintains his good humor and breath while performing almost 3 hours of show, with more than 30 songs in his repertoire. This year’s “Got Back” agenda has as its last performance the show that takes place at the Maracanã Stadium, in Rio de Janeiro – the place where the singer gathered a record audience of 184 thousand people in the 90s.
