Pentagon spokesman John Kirby has accused Putin of “immorality” in Russia’s tactics in Ukraine and of “strange” allegations that he was waging war there, according to Bloomberg.
“There is not even an attempt by Russia to be precise in its targeting,” Kirby told reporters, occasionally pausing during this unusually emotional attack on Russia, he admitted. “It’s just a beast of the coldest and most immoral kind.”
The Pentagon spokesman also told reporters that Ukrainians were being trained to use US-supplied weapons at three locations outside their own country, including Germany, and that “most of the training” was being done by retired Florida National Guard members. from Ukraine shortly before the invasion.
