The Percy Jackson and the Olympians panel at CCXP 2023 brought exclusive experiences for fans present at the festival this Saturday (2).
The event began with the participation of Rick Riordan, author of the books, who sent a message to Brazilian fans with a video in Portuguese. And he said that, personally, he really liked the series.
Riordan highlighted that he was part of the entire process of this series to make it as faithful as possible to the books. He also said that Brazilian fans have been part of Percy Jackson’s history for a long time.

Afterwards, Disney exclusively showed some excerpts from the series. Fans were able to watch three scenes from the saga:
- At the beginning of the series, when Percy is attacked by Mrs Dodds;
- The scene of the Minotaur on the way to Camp Half-Blood; It is
- A scene from the flag hunt with Percy being attacked by Clarisse.
The panel featured a message from the main actors of the series, Walker Scobell (Percy), Leah Jeffries (Annabeth) and Aryan Simhadri (Grover), thanking fans and inviting everyone to watch the episodes.
The series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” premieres on Disney+ on December 20th and will have 12 episodes.
