The Kremlin understands the statements of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the return of Crimea should be a target of Ukraine, as an immediate threat to Russia, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peshkov, according to the Russian news agency Rost.
“Speaking in the Ukrainian parliament, Zelensky said that the return of Crimea should be the main goal of Ukraine. In practice, we perceive this as an immediate threat to Russia,” Peskov said.
According to him, such a wording by the Ukrainian president means that Kiev intends to use all available means, including violence, to encroach on Russian territory.
It is recalled that the annexation of Crimea to Russia took place in 2014.
