Petrobras held, this Monday (28), the first formal meeting with the government transition team of president-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
According to the statement from the state-owned company, Petrobras’ president, Caio Paes de Andrade; the Director of Institutional Relations and Sustainability, Rafael Chaves; the Director of Governance and Compliance, Salvador Dahan; and Petrobras attorney general, Taisa Maciel.
Already representing the transition team, Senator Jean Paul Prates (PT), Professor Mauricio Tolmasquim and other members, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Civil House, were present.
The state-owned company informed that, at the meeting, the first steps were established for a “professional transition and within the good rules of governance”.
“Petrobras made itself available to provide all the information necessary for the transition team to conclude a first diagnosis that should support the next management”, says the press release.
The request for information should be formalized in the coming days.
