PGR appeals against sharing a survey that investigates entrepreneurs

The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) appealed, this Friday (16), against the decision of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), who ordered that information from the investigation of digital militias be shared with the investigation. that targets bolsonarista businessmen.

For the PGR, Moraes’ decision “did not substantiate the concrete and detailed reasons that justify the sharing of informative elements” of the investigation of digital militias with the investigation against the businessmen.

The PGR argues that there is no “connection” between the two cases, which “consequently makes the intended sharing of information unfeasible, on the grounds of lack of well-founded reasons and thematic relevance”.

If Moraes rejects the appeal, the PGR asks that the case be submitted to the plenary of the Court.

Last Friday (9), Moraes determined that the information from the inquiry be shared with the action against Bolsonarista businessmen who, in a private WhatsApp group, showed a preference for a coup d’état over the election of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva ( PT).

With this, the investigation against businessmen opened by the STF after the disclosure of the alleged exchange of messages will have more data obtained in the investigation of antidemocratic acts. This latest calculation began in 2021.
