Two suspects were killed by a military police officer off During an attempted robbery at Rua Ventura, in the neighborhood of Xerém, Duque de Caxias, Baixada Fluminense, on Friday afternoon (18).
According to information from the Military Police, agents were called to assist a police officer who was the victim of attempted robbery. According to the record, the policeman was in his private car when he was surprised by shots by a group of gunmen who arrived in another vehicle.
There was confrontation and the military police officer was able to reach two of the suspects, who could not resist the injuries and died at the scene.
According to the Civil Police, the two dead men have not yet been identified. A third individual was injured during the criminal action and was rescued, remaining hospitalized in police custody.
Military police reported that a rifle, two pistols and various ammunition were seized with the group.
The occurrence was sent to the 60th DP. The Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station was called and began investigations into the case.
