Police arrested another suspect this Tuesday (26) in the attempted murder of bassist Mingau, from the band Ultraje a Rigor, who was shot in the head on September 3. According to the delegate responsible, there was a warrant for the man’s arrest.
The agent also highlighted that there are three suspects arrested in the case, and two others remain at large, with an open arrest warrant.

“We are now closing in on the total completion of the prisons,” said delegate Marcelo Russo.
“We do not rule out the possibility, while the arrests are taking place, of identifying other elements who, perhaps, may also have participated in the criminal enterprise that victimized Mingau, so we are still making progress”, highlighted the police officer.
He also highlighted that eight weapons were seized. In addition, the technical expert report on the ballistic confrontation was received. Still according to Russo, both the case and the projectile that were recovered at the crime scene, when analyzed with the seized weapons, the comparison was positive.
Porridge opens your eyes
On September 20, Mingau woke up and opened his eyes, according to the medical report from Hospital São Luiz.
“Patient Rinaldo Amaral remains hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit, having woken up this Wednesday (20/9) and opened his eyes. The patient is without sedation and is in the process of ‘weaning’ from mechanical ventilation. The condition is considered stable”, says the unit’s statement.
