A hotel in United Kingdom was forced to evict a couple, as the… strong bows they woke up the other hotel guests – and forced the staff to call her police.
THE Jamie Boultbee and the Kaylie Hursthousehad booked a room for his Day Valentine’s Day at the Moorlands Izaak Walton Hotel. But the “excessive intimacy” them, prompting staff members to call the police, StokeonTrentLive reports.
In accordance with Mirror, officers were forced into the property with a spare key after the couple failed to open the door. When the door opened, Hursthouse was drunk and there was damage to the bathroom door.
Prosecutor Karen Wright said police received a call from the hotel shortly after midnight on February 15. According to her, “the staff said it was a couple quite noisy. They had been observed several times. The night staff had gone up to the room to speak to the people in there. The police were led to room 25, where “the party” was. It was clear that they were causing noise pollution and nuisance».

She added that when there was no response to the knocking on the door by the police, they were given a key and entered the room. “Hursthouse was heavily intoxicated and reeked of alcohol. She was slurring her words and unsteady. Boultbee was lying in bed. Hursthouse said the reason for the noise was that they did wild sex. He mentioned that one bruise on her head was from one blow a few days earlier, because of anger, because of losing a child.”
What the couple said after the incident
Mike Kimberley, representing Boultbee, said his client is alcoholic. “The young lady saw that she was suffering from depression and thought it was a good idea for them to go away for a romantic night. It was totally drunk, angry and all. When the manager came, Boultbee was fully cooperative and said he would pay for any damage. He remembers kicking in the bathroom door. The hotel should be compensated. It is right that he should pay compensation of £500.’ Mr Kimerbly reported that doctors told Boultbee that if he did not change his current lifestyle, he might die within the next two years.
Mark Bromley, solicitor for Hursthouse, said: “Unfortunately, this planned romantic outing caused disruption to other hotel guests. My client accepts that she has to pay against the problems caused. They spent almost £200 on this two day excursion. They were forced to interrupt their stay because of the incident.”
Boultbee was awarded a penalty 12 months old conditional, while Hursthouse was given six months conditional sentence. The pair had caused £1,000 worth of damage – and £250 of the bill’s work covers compensation for some of the other guests.
