Pompeo: Wuhan lab continues to conduct secret military experiments

THE Mike Pompeo, a former foreign minister and CIA director, said the Institute of Virology (WIV) in Wuhan had conducted a covert military investigation and claimed there was “significant evidence” that the virus causing COVID-19 had leaked from the lab. He warned that dangerous experiments were continuing.

“What I can say for sure is this: we know that some people in the lab were involved in efforts related to the People’s Liberation Army,” Pompeo told Fox News on Saturday, May 29, according to an article in the Daily Mail.

“They refuse to tell us what these experiments were and to allow access to the World Health Organization,” Pompeo said. “This shows that there is a lot more we need to know. This lab is still operating and is probably still conducting the same research that led to the leak of the virus from the lab,” he said. “Only the Chinese Communist Party knows the answer. “People have a right to know; I hope there will be a bilateral impetus for China to be held accountable,” Pompeo said.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, US President Joe Biden announced on Wednesday, May 26, that he had instructed the US Intelligence Service “to step up efforts in their investigation into the origin of the pandemic and to report the results in 90 days.” .

“I am just happy to be back. I hope this is a serious investigation as they say they give 90 days to the secret services to look into it. “These services have been looking into it for a long time,” he said.

Pompeo has repeatedly referred to the virus leak theory since the early days of the pandemic. However, this theory was until recently rejected as another conspiracy theory.

“We know there were people who got sick there, scientists who got sick. They experimented with viruses, increasing their transmissibility (“Gain of function”). This government should look for it. “I hope he will continue the research we started,” Pompeo said.
