Prince Harry panicked when he learned of the Queen’s hospitalization

The grandmother is always the grandmother, even if it is the Queen Elizabeth: for the principe Harry it was really difficult to know her in the hospital, so much so that, according to some rumors leaked in the last hours, the news would have sent him “In panic mode”. To reveal it to the magazine US Weekly was a source close to the family: “He felt powerless five thousand miles away, in Montecito, and he controlled the situation relentlessly”, the insider reported.

It could not be otherwise, for a specific reason. “The prince still feels guilty for not saying goodbye to his grandfather in person before his death in April”, added the source, “He would never forgive himself if the same thing happened with his beloved grandmother.”

Harry’s desire now is more than ever to return to London as soon as possible. “She hopes to go home for Christmas, if not sooner, so that the queen can finally meet her great-granddaughter Lilibet and see Archie again”.

In fact, since he moved to the United States, Harry has only met the queen at the funeral of Prince Philip, during which there was no possibility even to sit next to each other, let alone talk to each other, while it was never known whether the two-way meeting that was talked about a lot at the time really happened or not. Harry on that occasion had stayed in London for only a few days, as he had done last summer, on the occasion of the inauguration of the statue of Lady Diana together with her brother William.

Relations with the grandmother, however, at least according to what well-informed royal watchers say, they have always remained excellent. The queen has always had an eye for her most reckless nephew, and over the years he has never let her lack his affection. The last few months have been characterized by numerous video calls and a long-distance relationship, which however has never really cooled down. Of course Harry can’t wait to hug her again. And this time Meghan just can’t help but be by her side.
