Here’s your chance to earn some money while… traveling.
THE hotels.com is looking to hire a Retro Beach Motelier who will visit several retro beach hotels in the United States and enjoy peaceful days by the sea in the greatest style of the 1950s.
The itinerary is comprised of Hotels.com’s top 10 retro beach hotels across America, including The Pearl Hotel in San Diego, California, and Vagabond Hotel in Miami, Florida. The list is based on guest reviews, overall design, value and location, the company said in a press release.
The hotel will be equipped with period accessories like striped umbrellas, vintage sunglasses, refrigerator and even a solar-powered AM/FM radio to enjoy some tunes. The visit/work will consist of offline activities, such as documenting the journey “for future generations” using a classic polaroid camera.
The tourist will receive US$10,000 (approximately R$50,000) to cover travel expenses and an amount of US$5,000 (R$25,000) to spend on classic beachside snacks such as saltwater caramel, cream frozen and snow husks.
“Travelers these days tend to look to all-inclusive hotels and resorts when planning their summer vacation, but our Retro Beach Motelier is ready to prove that beach hotels can be just as luxurious,” said Melissa Dohmen of Hotels.com .
“These timeless hotels are not only budget-friendly, but will also transport beachgoers – literally and figuratively – back in time to truly unplug and relax.”
If you don’t want to travel alone, you can bring a guest along for fun.
