Companies consider digitization an important part of their professional activity, according to the results of a research carried out by Prosvasis, a member of the SOFTONE Group of companies, in collaboration with FocusBari.
The main goal of the research was to map the needs and beliefs of professionals and small businesses, regarding the importance of the digital transformation of their daily operation. Mandatory for everyone from now on, from November 1, electronic invoicing and the digitization of procedures by the state, formulate new operating requirements for freelancers and small businesses.
The research reveals that 75% of the surveyed companies, consider digitization as a very important part of their professional activity, with online banking management, connection with the accountant and automation of daily work, to be considered as necessary procedures, by 87%, 80% and 79% respectively. In addition, as the survey shows:
– 64% say they are solely responsible for selecting applications that support the transformation of their daily operation.
– 70% consider the issuance of electronic invoices and the automatic updating of AADE books, important for the digital transformation of their work.
Freelancers / sole proprietors, as well as those employed in garages, transport, accommodation, repairs and agricultural activities, remain reluctant.
Less than 2 out of 5 companies have software that allows the issuance of electronic invoices, with 48% of respondents having moderate to fairly large concerns about this part.
– Monitoring the daily operations and the course of the business are the main concerns regarding the process of digital transformation.

It is noted that the survey involved a total of 300 managers or co-managers in terms of business finance management, namely: freelancers / sole proprietorships and companies with up to 9 employees, selected branches with a specific legal form, as well as companies that issue 50 or more invoices a year. 73% of the respondents are based in Attica and 27% in Thessaloniki, while 39% are self-employed / sole proprietors and 61% small businesses.
