The German one Bild which is used to provoking with its publications, targeted Greece and program arecycling and replacement of electrical deviceswriting that the Germans pay for the fridges of the Greeks.
“German taxpayers’ money for Greek refrigerators” is the title of Bild and refers to the subsidies in Greece for changing electrical appliances that reach up to 50% of their value.
The German website writes among other things: “The budget for this (150 million euros) comes from the EU which means that the Germany pays”.
“It’s a dubious way to spend money from other member states, which obviously have the same problems,” criticizes Jana Simke, an economic expert from the Christian Democratic Party.
And he adds: “It would make more sense to invest in alternative energy imgs instead of refrigerators and air conditioners. These will not overcome the causes of the current energy crisis”.
