Russian President Vladimir Putin today denounced a “heinous crime” after the attack on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who was seriously wounded by bullets. In a telegram sent to his Slovakian counterpart Zuzana Tzaputova and released by the Kremlin, Putin wrote: “I learned with indignation about the assassination attempt against Robert Fico, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic.
