Putin: “I’m ready to meet Zelenski but only if it is the final stage of the negotiations”

Vladimir Putin said today that he was “ready” to meet his Ukrainian counterpart Volodimir Zelenski, but solely in the context of the “last stage” of negotiations between Moscow and Kiev, more than three years after the invasion of the Russian army. “I am ready to meet” with Mr Zelenski, “but only if it is the final stage” of the talks – which have been deadlocked, with each side insisting on its positions, which remain incompatible -, the Russian president noted in his speech.
