Queen Elizabeth: Queues of thousands of citizens – Waiting up to 6 hours to say goodbye

Thousands of people waited up to six hours in queues of kilometers in order to pay their respects to Queen Elizabethwhose body lies in St. Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh.

The coffin of the deceased was taken to the church on Monday afternoon and will remain there until this afternoon.

Queen Elizabeth: Her body will be taken to Buckingham Palace this afternoon

Then, after prayers from the priests of the temple, it will move to Edinburgh Airport, from where will be flown by Royal Air Force aircraft to Londonat RAF Northolt Air Force Base.

The body will be accompanied on the flight by the Queen’s daughter, Princess Anne, and the Reverend Professor David Ferguson, Abbot of the Chapel Royal in Scotland. After the 55-minute flight, the aircraft will land in London five minutes before 19:00 (local time). He will be carried in the official state hearse and after a Royal Air Force salute will depart for Buckingham Palace.
