“Queer “, the new film by Luca Guadagnino director of “Rivals”, and starring Daniel Craig known for his role as James Bond, finally has a release date in Brazil. The film will be distributed in the country by MUBI .
The film will hit theaters on December 12th . The production also got a new trailer, released this Thursday (21) – see below.
The production is based on the novel of the same name by William S. Burroughs one of the main authors of the beat literary movement, published in 1985, which takes place in Mexico City in the 1950s and tells the story of William Lee, the writer’s alter-ego. Craig will play the protagonist, who is homosexual and needs to deal with his drug addiction.
In addition to him, names such as the singer Omar Apollo , Drew Starkey (“Outer Banks”) and the Brazilian Henry Zaga (“The New Mutants” and “After the Universe”). Check out an excerpt from the production already released by the studio .
