The Holding Quest announces that the Ordinary General Meeting of June 15, 2022 has decided to distribute a dividend excluding the own shares held by the company.
It is clarified that a temporary dividend of 1.25 euros (gross amount) was given per share concerning the 35,740,896 shares of the company, which following the decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of 28 February 2022 (split: 1 old share into 3 new ones) to 107,222,688 new shares. Based on the decision of the Annual Ordinary General Meeting of June 15, 2022, it was decided to pay a dividend of 0.15 euros (gross amount) corresponding to the new number of shares.
On February 7, 2022 the company paid as a temporary dividend an amount of 1.25 euros per share (gross amount) on 35,740,896 shares of the company against the dividend payable for the year 2021. After that the balance of the dividend to be distributed for the year 2021 amounts to 0.15 euros (gross amount per share) or 0.1425 euros (net amount after 5% withholding) on the 107,222,688 shares of the company after the above division and including the increase due to the own shares held by the company.
It is noted that the adjusted (with the new number of shares) dividend for the year 2021 is 0.4167 euros per share, which concerns the temporary dividend plus 0.15 euros per share, a total of 0.5667 euros per share (gross amount).
The said amount is subject to withholding tax of 5% on the dividends in accordance with the provisions of articles 40 and 64 of Law 4172/2013 (Government Gazette A ‘167 /23.07.2013), as amended by article 24 of Law 4646 / 2019 (Government Gazette A ‘201 /12.12.2019). Therefore, the net payable balance of dividend for the year 2021 is 0.1425 euros per share.
From Friday, June 17, 2022, the Company’s shares will be traded on the Athens Stock Exchange without the right of the above distribution (cut-off date of participation right). Beneficiaries of the distribution are those registered in the files of the Intangible Securities System (DSS) managed by the “Hellenic Central Securities Depository Societe Anonyme” on Monday, June 20, 2022 (record date).
The start date for the payment of the dividend is set on Thursday, June 23, 2022 through the paying Bank, Alpha Bank as follows:
1. Through the Participants of the beneficiaries in the DSS. (Banks and Stock Exchanges), in accordance with the regulations in force of EL.K.AT. and its relevant decisions.
2. Especially in cases of dividend payment to heirs of deceased beneficiaries whose titles are kept in the Special Account of their Share in DSS, under the management of ATHEXCSD, the dividend payment process will be carried out after the completion of the legalization of the heirs. , through the Alpha Bank network.
