Ten awards from the National for Innovation and Technology

With the award ceremony of 10 new innovative teams and companies, the Competition “Innovation & Technology” organized for the twelfth consecutive year by the National Bank, within the framework of the NBG Business Seeds program, was completed.

The awarded companies

First winner the company emerged Deepmed which was awarded a € 20,000 cash prize for an artificial intelligence diagnostic system for staging multiple types of cancer by detecting lymph node metastases from digitized microscope plates.

Fourth prize for the company Metabioa platform for patients, health facilities, biobanks and research centers, with the aim of optimizing the drug development cycle, thus drastically reducing the cost of primary production and increasing the value of the bio-sample.

Cash prizes were also awarded, for the remaining prizes, from 1,500 euros to six teams:

– Cognitiveplus for an advanced AI solution for reading and analyzing legal texts and documents that can speed up the export process and improve document analysis, enabling professionals and businesses to achieve faster and better decision making.

– Elektronio Patin-e is a model of electric skate that focuses on safety and comfort and serves the needs of movement in the urban environment.

– Kryptonio Wallet for a “keyless wallet” so users no longer have to worry about managing private keys or safely storing homepage phrases

– myTeam for an application that helps sports clubs, coaches, athletes and parents to digitize and optimize the processes that occur daily between them.

– Oviview for an online human resource management platform, which offers the opportunity for quick and easy filtering of candidates in the early stages of evaluation. Using the computer camera and microphone, it makes unnecessary active participation of candidates and employers, and records every interview in a timely manner, while providing employers with the ability to grade, take notes and access the characteristics of candidates.
