Between new algorithm updates and the introduction of more parental supervision tools, Instagram has announced the release of Quiet Mode.
Indeed, in addition to the functions for limit the display of unwanted posts in the section Explore and the ability for parents to see the Instagram settings of the teenage childrenprivacy and account ones in addition to blocked profiles, there is a new mode designed to improve our concentration and encourage members to set boundaries with their contacts.
Similar to mode Do not disturb of the iPhone, the Quiet Mode turn off notifications and change your activity status of our profile by informing other users that we are temporarily busy and, when someone sends us a direct message, they are also able to send an automatic reply.
The silent mode also can be scheduled according to our habits so that no one can disturb us while we are at school, at work or resting during the night: and obviously we will not lose anything, in fact, once deactivated we will be able to consult a summary of silenced notifications.
Although the Quiet Mode has already been officially released, at the moment it is not yet available for Italy. However, the company has officially expressed its intention to make it usable soon also in other countries therefore, it would be helpful to keep the Instagram app updated to take advantage of the latest at the time of release.
