The singer Ralph 63, former duo with Chrystian , mourned the death of his brother in the early hours of this Thursday (20). Chrystian passed away on Wednesday night (19) at the age of 67.
“My dear brother… We always did our best. Given our commitments, unfortunately we were unable to say goodbye… but I am sure that our ‘Father’ will guide you into the light with the Lord Jesus! Rest in peace, my brother Chrystian”, he wrote on social media.
Chrystian was admitted to Hospital Samaritano in São Paulo. He was diagnosed with polycystic kidney, also known as polycystic kidney syndrome, a genetic disease that generates cysts in the organ.
The countryman gained fame alongside his brother, Ralf, when they formed the duo Chrystian and Ralf. Together, they released 20 albums, as well as 32 compilations and 2 acoustic DVDs. Over the years, they have won 15 Gold, 9 Platinum and 4 Diamond Records.
