Real estate sector awards housing projects

The Faap theater, in São Paulo, received the first edition of the Habitability award on Thursday night (3). Five categories were included: Coexistence, transformation, consciousness, senses and paths.

The purpose of the award is to highlight the main urban and social development projects in Brazil. Honors were given to those who think and design an intelligent future of inhabiting and create solutions for cities and for everyone in society.

In coexistence, the award went to Michelle Prazeres, creator of the Desacelera SP project.

In the transformation category, the winners were Carina Guedes and Luciana da Cruz da Arquitetura na Periferia.

Already in conscience, the award went to Eduardo Ávila, creator of Revolusolar.

In the senses category, Júlia Peres and Victoria Braga do Ruína were awarded.

Simony César do Nina won in the paths category.

The Habitability Award is a partnership between MRV&CO, the housing platform responsible for the Habitability portal, and Trip – creator of the respected and traditional Trip Transformadores award.

For Eduardo Fischer, CEO of MRV&CO, the Habitability Award gives visibility to great actions in society with regard to quality of life and well-being.

“We have one goal, as a company, which is to create a better future for our customers, employees and the planet. I, in particular, believe that through this Award we can promote visibility to actions that are so important to society, seeking greater levels of well-being and quality of life for all and at the same time identifying improvements in everyday life. When we bring these pillars to be discussed, without the contribution of a brand, we can explore other fronts, which surround the context of physical housing such as behavior, technology, health, sustainability and mobility, for example”, he explains.
