From May 31, Italy changes color and finally turns to white. There are three regions that will leave yellow to become white: Molise, Sardinia and Friuli Venezia Giulia. They will follow from the following week, starting from 7 June, Abruzzo, Veneto and Liguria. And if the contagion and incidence data continue to be reassuring (meaning below 50 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants) from June 14 it will be the turn of Lombardy, Piedmont, Apulia, Emilia Romagna, Province of Trento and in all likelihood also Lazio.
With the transition to the white zone, they remain active as restrictions only the obligation to wear a mask (outdoors when you can’t keep distance and indoors in public places) and the spacing, in addition to the mandatory protocols for the various activities. The obligation to curfew, thus allowing freedom of movement without time limits. In the yellow areas on 7 June it will be moved to 24 and on 21 June completely eliminated.
To avoid a new increase in infections, the regions have shared with the government a shared line of actions that include the basic criteria of prevention: sanitation and ventilation of closed places as well as masks and spacing. More rules will therefore be introduced and for this reason there has been talk of a “reinforced white zone”. The agreement reached between the Regions and the Ministry of Health will be incorporated in a forthcoming ordinance.
Among the unknowns for the white zone remains that relating to discos. From 31 May in Molise, Sardinia and Friuli Venezia Giulia the premises will be authorized only for bar and restaurant services, but it will not be possible to dance on the dance floor. Among the hypotheses, also that of access via green pass.
In the white zone, theme and amusement parks will reopen. Finally, green light for fairs, weddings and other ceremonies (in the yellow zone they will restart from June 15th); game rooms and indoor swimming pools will also be able to become active again. Those in the yellow zone will have to wait until July 1st.
